Get the Look: Cozy Tahoe Cabin (casasugar?format=xml)
With a nip in the air and frost covering the ground, I’m ready for some cozy
hibernating. For San Francisco Bay Area folks like me, this often means
dreaming of a Lake Tahoe area ski cabin. This Tahoe A-frame, shown below, was
once a rundown rental cabin, but thanks to a lot of hard work from its owners,
it’s been transformed into a rustic chic getaway.Featured in **Sunset**

in re-creating the cozy-rustic-chic look of the great room, shown here.
To start, use a black or near-black wall paint for an accent wall. Firewood is
a necessity as well, but make it a decorating element by stacking it neatly
next to the hearth.
As far as decor accents, to get the look, you’re going to have to embrace
antlers - and deer. But that doesn’t mean you have to harm any animals in the
